Cake-stuff.com joins Create Better Group

Create Better Group have today announced that they are welcoming family-founded cake decorating retailer, Cake Stuff, to the group. Lanarkshire based, Cake Stuff, have over 135,000 customers worldwide and distribute cake craft supplies from their distribution warehouse in the historic village of Lesmahagow in Scotland. Cake Stuff offer a range of over 11,000 cake decorating products and over the past 15 years have firmly established themselves as experts on the cake craft scene offering a vast range of choice for customers, alongside fast, friendly and fun service.

In August 2006, owners Jean and Alan Young took their over 30 years retail experience and expanded their online sugarcraft and tartan ribbon businesses into new industrial units near Glasgow. The move proved such a success that the team quickly had to expand premises to accommodate the ever-growing amount of stock arriving from all over the world. Cake Stuff have since expanded their team, including the third generation of family, Cameron, joining the busines and made two subsequent moves, in 2012 and then 2018, to accommodate the rising online demand for their products and to maintain their first-class service to customers.

In the second half of 2021, Create Better Group, which currently employs more than 70 people, will be expanding into new offices in Colwick, Nottingham. The firm is enthusiastic about the increased market penetration that it can offer its suppliers once the team at Cake Stuff have settled in.

Operations for Cake-stuff.com will be unaffected by this move and customers will continue to receive the usual high levels of care. Trade and wholesale customers will continue to receive their trade/wholesale discount along with top service and support.
