Employee of the Month - Wayne Allen & Declan Anthony

 This month's Employee of the Month award presentation might have been our most exciting one yet! With so much going on in the business, and people across all teams working so hard, the nominations came in thick and fast. This always makes it tough to choose...

In a plot twist for the team, however, this time we had two winners! Following a game-changing project in the CBG warehouse, our Head of Operations, Michael Fowler, was delighted to make the announcement:

"May sees a first for our Employee of the Month award with 2 winners who, together, have delivered a transformational project here at CBG. Wayne Allen and Declan Anthony have worked together in our Warehouse Stock team for the past few years. Over the course of the past 2 months they've been responsible for project managing the removal of over half of our old mezzanine racks and replacing with new pallet racking, which has increased our capacity by almost 500 new spaces. This has been achieved with almost no disruption to our business and will deliver us significant savings throughout the remainder of 2025 as well as giving us the ability to rehouse all of our stock under one roof.

Their can-do attitude, the effort and hours they have dedicated and their determination to keep the operation unaffected embodies every aspect we believe deserving of our award and it was fantastic to be able to recognise their hard work in this way. Thank you Wayne and Declan, a truly massive impact from you both!"
