The Cake Decorating Company Wins the Double! Two Industry Awards in Four Months

It’s been a very exciting few months at The Cake Decorating Company HQ! In just four months we were nominated for two prestigious awards. Being nominated is an honour in itself, but to win is always the cherry on top! So, we went for the double and we’re delighted to report... we did it! 

The inaugural Cake & Bake International Awards took place in November 2025, and we were overjoyed to walk away with the coveted Retailer of the Year award! We're sure everyone who was there could see just how much it meant to us. Winning an industry award like this is always exciting, but it's even more special when it is voted for by our customers. It was the perfect addition to our weekend at Cake International in Birmingham, where we spent three amazing days on our stand catching up with suppliers, customers and friends. 

The kind words and congratulations we received on the night of the awards ceremony, and in the weeks after, from peers and customers alike, were hugely appreciated. That level of support made us more determined than ever to make 2026 our best year yet. 

And then, in February 2026, the D’Licious Magazine Awards took place, where we were nominated for Best Finishing Touches Supplier of the Year. Once again, our wonderful community came together, and the votes of our customers secured us the trophy. It was a fantastic night and another very proud moment. These events are such a great opportunity for our industry to come together and celebrate, and (win or lose) we look forward to them every time. 

Our team at The Cake Decorating Company works so hard every day, from sourcing products and adding them to our website to marketing our brands, handling customer enquiries and getting all the orders packed and sent out. We couldn't do what we do without every department, and winning both the awards we were nominated for is a testament to the hard work of every staff member. We couldn't be happier.

We had an amazing time celebrating all the talent and passion in the cake world and are so grateful to have been nominated. What a way to end 2025 and kick off 2026!
